K9 Anytime Dog Show & Summer Festival 2018

Shropshire’s biggest & best Dog Day Out of the year - K9 Anytime Dog Show & Summer Festival 2018 took place on 20th May, and what a day it was! Held just across the road from K9 Anytime Doggy Daycare & Luxury Hotel, Shifnal, at Apley Farm Shop, over 3000 people came down with their dogs to celebrate the sunshine and enjoy a furry family day out together.

Stand holders from across the country came together to offer an incredible array of goodies & gifts for dogs & pawrents alike and where some lucky pups got spoiled absolutely rotten!

Amongst the shopping there was:

- A weight clinic for your dog to get weighed and discuss their diet and nutrition with a canine diet expert

- A canine massage stand for your dog’s mobility to be assessed

(& a human massage stand for the humans to join in on the relaxation too!)

- Facepainting & glitter tattoos for our little visitors to dress up to match their pups

- A helicopter simulator for you to take a peek inside the Air Ambulance experience

- Live caricature artists to capture you & your pup on paper on the spot

- Live grooming demonstrations & services

- A photo booth for pawrents to get snapped posing with their pups & props!

- Our partners Hatfields Land Rover Jaguar Shrewsbury with their wonderful vehicles on display!

The K9 Anytime stand was visited non stop all day long by lots of lovely faces, both familiar and new, furry and not so! We loved getting the chance to chat with you and see everyone enjoying a day out designed just for their dog. The swimming pool, bubble machine and doggy ice cream at the K9 Anytime stand were on hand to keep our pups chilling in the warm weather.

The stretch tent was full of Dog Yoga, talks from canine experts and pups taking a break from the sun in some shade, and the main arena was jam packed non stop! We welcomed 4 time Crufts finalist and her team to show our pups some moves and try them out ourselves, a have a go agility arena and of course... the Dog Show! There were so many wonderful entrants who came to strut their stuff in the ring and everyone had fantastic fun taking part - check out our Facebook page @k9anytime to see who was crowned the K9 Anytime Dog Show Champion!
